Hi, my name is Katherine but I'll also answer to Feebs, Girl or Hey. I am about 4 years old.

Some of my likes include breakfast/dinner (which I eat in under a minute), long walks and cuddling on the couch. I love to flip over and paw at my foster dad until he scratches my stomach. Some my dislikes include loud noises and my crate.

Since loud noises/quick movements are my nemesis, I would prefer a home without small kids running around. I am comfortable going into my crate to chew on bones and for the occasional nap, but I would prefer not to be cooped up in there all day. I can also get a little nervous around new people and new places but if you just give me a few minutes to get settled I should be just fine. I like to explore and will need a fenced yard to keep me from wandering off. Bonus, if you have a squirrel or bunny problem in your yard I will be happy to take care of it for you.

I am fine around other dogs but I don't really have much interest in playing. If you have other dogs that's great, but it's not a necessity at all. I rarely bark, love my bones and chew toys, am super smart and getting better with house training every day and I'll happily sleep through the night right next to you on the floor.

I'm just now learning how to be a terrier. That means I've recently discovered the joy of destroying small stuffed animals. Just the other day I learned how to play tug and I can't wait to play more. I am also having fun chasing tennis balls around the house. If you have small balls that squeak I would love you to throw them for me!

Basically, I'm a low-maintenance dog enjoying my new life! I just need a place to settle down as I'm tired of being moved around so much. If you like walks, have an a few extra doggy beds laying around and your kids have moved out, why not check me out?

ADOPTION EVENTS:

Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.

FOSTER CARE:

All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience. NUTRITION:

Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets. All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet. All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
