Wanted: A cozy lap with some snuggling required. I am darling little guy who is full of affection and loves to play. I am about 8 years old and get along great with dogs, kids, and well, just about everyone! I’m working on my potty training, and while I adore being with being with my people, I still do well when left home alone. 2014 brought me a great foster home; I can only hope 2015 brings me my furever home!
Ollie is a great little dog. He has a mind of his own but seems to be coming out of his shell more. He would do well in a less active environment. We're still working on his potty training, hence the belly band. He's doing wonderfully in the crate at nights. Ollie is learning about what to do on a leash. He does his “business” out back and comes right back in the door. His appetite is really good and loves the Acana Brand food. He certainly enjoys the Bully Sticks and there isn't a time that you don't see him with one in his mouth! We want nothing more than for our beloved foster pups to find forever homes this Winter! In an effort to help them find the right, wonderful home, we have reduced many of our adoption fees from 12/1/14 until 2/1/15 . The adoption fee still includes all of the comprehensive Vet work as before, including: Spay/neuter, heartworm test (negative), micro-chip, Vet examined, current on routine boosters, fecal check negative/de-wormed, as well as nearly all adult dogs have had at least one surgical dental. Ollie's adoption fee is now $295 until 2/1/15 ! ADOPTION EVENTS:
Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.
ADOPTION PROCEDURE: FOSTER CARE:
All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience. NUTRITION:
Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets. All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet. All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
