Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!

Hello, my name is MacGyver but you can call me Mac if you’d like…that’s what my foster mom calls me. I am a handsome healthy adult male Yorkie who is sweet and I am all boy!! I love to wrestle and play and I am always on the look-out for new adventures! I also like to keep an eye on everything that’s going and I have a pretty good vantage point when I lay on my foster mom’s shoulder while she’s watching TV…I’m pretty sure she thinks I’m just “cuddling” with her but really I’m keeping my eyes on the goings-on around the room…I know, I’m pretty sly!! Okay, truth be told…I love people, so I sit on her shoulder to cuddle too…that’s just not a very masculine thing to admit so try to keep it on the DL okay?
I am a total foodie…I love everything food and it doesn’t matter if it’s MY food or someone else’s, I love it and will try to take it away! I also love bones and I have a bully stick that’s about my size and that’s my favorite! I will try to steal bully sticks too and I will hide them where nobody is going to find them.
I have not had any experience with children, cats, or larger dogs but I’m a pretty docile guy, so I’d probably be okay. My foster mom is helping learn how to do my personal business outside, get used to that crate thing, and that leash thing that gets tied around my neck. I’m a smart guy, so I know that I will get the potty training down as soon as I get on a good schedule and I’m sure the crate and leash will come in time as well.
I am a fairly quiet little dude too. I may bark if another dog does, but my foster mom says that my bark is so quiet you “can hardly hear it”. She also says that I am “fantastic and so amazing…what a personality!” She says,…and I quote…“Everything you could want, he’s handsome, smart, loving, a great kisser - you name it, this little dude has it happening! Such a good boy who just wants to love you!!!!!”
All of that is totally true! I have so much unconditional love to share with a family who will share it back! I get the feeling that family is you so please hurry, I’ll be here waiting for you!
Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.
