Keep checking back for upcoming events I will be attending!

Hello there! I’m Nora. I’m a 60 lb Bloodhound. I’m a very friendly little lady who just loves hoomans!!! Well, okay, as a Bloodhound who weighs 60 lbs, I’m not exactly “little” but with pawsome ears like mine, who cares about that? Aren’t my ears amazing?! Not only do they make me super cute, but they help me be a really good listener for my hoomans too!
I am a very good girl. Do you want to know why? It’s because I do my business outside like all good proper ladies do. I am also crate trained, so if you had to use one, I’d be okay because I know what they are all about.
I also really like me some bones and rope toys! They are fun to play with and if you play tug-o-war with me I bet I’d beat you!!!! Oh, and if you have some doggie treats that’d be cool too because they are so yummy.
And guess what else? You know that leash thing? I’m super good at it, so if you’re up for lots and lots of walkies, that’d be pawesome! A girl needs her exercise you know. I mean I like to keep my figure and with how much I like me some doggie treats, a walkie is probably a good thing to take! Plus, there are loads of fun things to look at too. Oh, and all the smells!!!!
When I’m not showing my hoomans how great I am doing my business outside and doing on walkies, I also know “leave it” and “outside”. Isn’t that amazing? I know you’re impressed!
I haven’t met the little hoomans or those cat things but I do like other doggies. Although to be honest, bigger dogs are better. My beautiful long legs tend to sometimes step on the little dogs and I don’t want to smoosh them because then I’d feel bad. So, maybe it’s better if I am around the bigger doggies. Although, if it were just you and me that’s okay too. Then I’d get to hog all the fun hooman snuggles all to myself!
And, if you need me to keep you safe, I can do that too because you see, when I see strangers that are outside, I will do barkage to tell you so that you are aware. And if I do barkage, I might scare them away too, so that’s why I do that. I also do a bit of barkage sometimes if I’m alone. You see, I just love my hoomans, so it’s more fun if I get to be around them.
So anyway, that’s a bit about me. I’m a very friendly girl that is looking for her furever family who I can love furever and ever and ever. Plus, I’ll share my ears with you and keep all your secrets too! Who wouldn’t that? Come on! I know you want to meet me! I cannot wait to meet you!
Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.
