Hi! My name is Kenya. I am a delicate 3 year old babe looking for someone or a family to show me what this awesome, beautiful world is all about. Right now, I am shy, yet curious. I love running around the yard and even chased a rabbit once!
My future family or person should know that I’m learning to trust people. Each day gets a little easier, each touch a bit softer. I am such a brave girl! I really enjoy the company of dogs and will require one or more pup brother/sister in my forever home. I need them to teach me canine stuff and I also need a cuddle buddy! One with extensive cuddle experience preferred. A calm, patient, and gentle family would be ideal for me.
During the day while my foster family is gone at work, I hang out in an xpen with my comfy bed and my dog friends. It’s my safe place. I like to chew on my raw marrow bones in there! Who doesn't like a good ol' bone!? I am getting closer to being potty trained and do my best on a schedule! I even use a potty pad. Boom, I am awesome!
My foster mom says I have a great personality that the world will want to see. I just need some confidence to help bring it out. That’s where you and a dog friend come in! I’d really love to meet you – ask my Underdog friends about ‘Kind Little Kenya’!
Many of our dogs are rescued from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.
